Tesla's highly anticipated Cybertruck has seen yet another price increase, now priced at $74,990, up from its initial launch price of $59,990 just a few days ago. Initially set at this attractive entry point in February, the price quickly rose to $69,990, and has now escalated even further.
The price hike isn't limited to the base model; Tesla has also increased the cost of the Premium All-Wheel-Drive variant from $79,990 to $84,990. The Tri-Motor Performance model remains at its current starting price of $99,990.
The reasoning behind this price adjustment remains unclear. While one might speculate that it correlates with demand, the Cybertruck's popularity appears to be waning, with lower sales than anticipated. Despite a production capacity exceeding 125,000 units annually, estimates indicate only about 20,000 units were sold last year, a significant drop from 39,000 in 2024. Although making the vehicle available in more markets could enhance sales, the Cybertruck seems to appeal to a specific niche, rather than capturing mass market interest.
