Android Auto Update Resolves Major Connectivity Issues

In a recent development, Google has successfully addressed two significant bugs that have been causing frustration for Android Auto users. With the release of Android Auto version 17.4, issues related to connectivity that resulted in frequent drops or freezes have been resolved, according to the Android Auto team.

The earlier versions, specifically 17.1 to 17.3, were plagued by a persistent connection problem that affected both wired and wireless setups. This issue typically emerged after approximately three minutes of usage on some aftermarket head units and was notably reported by users of various Pixel and Samsung devices.

To benefit from these fixes, users should ensure they have updated to the latest version of Android Auto available on the Play Store. However, be advised that Google's software updates can often take time to roll out to all users, so patience may be required.

Additionally, Google has tackled another issue that affected Pixel 10 users trying to connect their devices to Skoda, Volkswagen, and Seat vehicles. This particular issue stemmed from the car's head unit, meaning that users will need to reach out to their local dealership for the necessary software updates to resolve this connection problem.
