Poco has officially launched the Poco M8x, the latest addition to its M8 series, positioning itself as a competitive smartphone option in the Indian market.
The Poco M8x boasts the powerful Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 SoC, making it a standout choice as India’s first smartphone equipped with this advanced chip. Users can experience impressive performance with options of up to 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and storage variants of up to 128GB of UFS 2.2, which can be expanded via a microSD card.
On the software front, the M8x is powered by Android 16-based HyperOS 3, and Poco has assured users of four generations of Android OS upgrades along with six years of security updates, ensuring longevity for the device.
The device features a vibrant 6.9" HD+ display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, all protected by Gorilla Glass 7i, and includes a centered punch-hole for an 8MP selfie camera. On the rear, users will find a robust 50MP primary camera accompanied by an auxiliary camera and LED flash, setting a high standard for photography.
The Poco M8x is supported by a massive 7,900 mAh battery, featuring 45W wired charging capabilities alongside 22.5W reverse wired charging, ensuring that users remain powered throughout their day.
Additional highlights of the Poco M8x include a convenient side-mounted fingerprint scanner, an IP64 rating for water and dust resistance, dual stereo speakers with Hi-Res Audio, and a 3.5mm headphone jack, enriching the overall user experience.
Color options include Leather Green, Black, and Blue, while the Leather Green variant features a stylish vegan leather finish. The smartphone is available in two memory configurations: 4GB/128GB priced at INR 20,999 and 6GB/128GB at INR 22,999.
Poco has announced that the Poco M8x will be available for purchase starting August 27 through Flipkart, inviting customers to explore its exciting features.
