The Slim and Powerful Moto Pad 70: Now Available in India

Motorola has expanded its tablet lineup with the launch of the Moto Pad 70, offering users a blend of portability, performance, and advanced features. This new tablet promises an enjoyable user experience for both work and entertainment, thanks to its impressive specifications and design. Here's everything you need to know about the Moto Pad 70, now available for purchase in India.

Moto Pad 70

A couple of weeks ago, Motorola unveiled the Moto Pad 70, marking the introduction of the third member of the Pad 70 family. This model shares similarities with the Moto Pad 70 Groove, featuring a 12.1” IPS LCD that offers a refresh rate of 120Hz as opposed to 90Hz found in the Groove. However, the Groove differentiates itself with a 9-unit JBL Pro Speaker System and a built-in kickstand.

Pricing and Availability

The major news today is that the slimmer Moto Pad 70 is officially available in India. You can conveniently find it listed on Motorola.in as well as on Flipkart. Currently, Flipkart is offering the 8/256GB model priced at ₹34,000.

Powerful Performance with the Dimensity 6400

The Moto Pad 70 is driven by the Dimensity 6400 chipset, ensuring native 5G connectivity. It's worth noting that the Groove model features a more potent 7400 chip. Interestingly, Motorola's online store displays an 8/128GB variant; however, the listed price of ₹37,000 may be an error. This same price appears for the 8/256GB model that comes with an additional keyboard cover, leading us to believe that the base 8/128GB model should be priced around ₹30,000.

Impressive Sound and Build Quality

While the Moto Pad 70 lacks the robust JBL speakers found in the Groove, it compensates with four Dolby Atmos-optimized speakers integrated into its sleek 6.3mm frame. The tablet weighs only 530g and is available in an attractive Pantone Sea Angel color. Its chassis is crafted from metal and boasts an IP52 rating for basic water and dust resistance.

Long-lasting Battery and Software Updates

Inside, the Moto Pad 70 houses a 10,200mAh battery that supports 68W fast charging via the USB-C 2.0 port. Connectivity options include 5G (sub-6GHz), Wi-Fi 5 (ac), and Bluetooth 5.2, ensuring seamless communication and entertainment.

This tablet launches with Android 16 out of the box and is confirmed to receive two major OS updates (up to Android 18). Moreover, security patches will be provided until 2030.
