Xiaomi has officially unveiled the Redmi M100 in China, showcasing its latest budget-friendly smartphone packed with remarkable features. With a large battery and sleek design, the M100 aims to cater to users looking for solid performance without breaking the bank.
The Redmi M100 boasts a 6.9-inch LCD display offering a resolution of 720x1600, complemented by a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and impressive peak brightness of 825 nits. At its core, the device is powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 SoC, ensuring efficient performance for daily tasks and gaming.
Photography enthusiasts will appreciate its 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera, ideal for capturing memorable moments. One of the standout features of the Redmi M100 is its enormous 7,900 mAh battery, which supports 45W fast charging, providing users with extended usage times without frequent recharging.
Running on HyperOS 3, the phone's measurements are 170.12 x 78.42 x 8.8 mm, weighing in at 232g, making it ergonomic for everyday use. In terms of color options, it comes in Wilderness Green, Star Rain White, and Deep Night Black. Customers can choose from three different RAM and storage configurations: 8/128GB, 6/256GB, and 8/256GB, starting at a competitive price of CNY 1,999, approximately $296.
While currently only announced for the Chinese market, speculation arises that the upcoming Poco M8x may be a rebranded version of the Redmi M100 for international consumers, thanks to the similarities in specifications.
