Poco is gearing up to unveil its latest additions to the smartphone lineup, the Poco F9 Pro and F9 Ultra, in the near future. Recent leaks provide intriguing insights into the battery specifications of these devices, hinting at key differences from their Redmi counterparts.
The Poco F9 Pro is anticipated to be a rebranded version of the newly launched Redmi K100 Pro, while the F9 Ultra is likely to mirror the K100 Pro Max.
According to a leak from a tipster on X, the Poco F9 Pro may house a 6,330mAh battery. This would represent a significant reduction compared to the impressive 8,580mAh battery of the Redmi K100 Pro.
On the other hand, the Poco F9 Ultra might be equipped with an 8,050mAh battery, which is also less than the 9,070mAh cell found in the Redmi K100 Pro Max.

Despite the reductions in battery capacity for these Poco devices, they are expected to maintain an impressive 100W wired fast charging capability.
For context, the Redmi K100 Pro features a 6.59-inch AMOLED display, Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 V processor, and a 200MP primary camera setup.

In comparison, the Redmi K100 Pro Max is powered by the standard Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, comes with a larger 6.9-inch AMOLED display, a 200MP main camera, and a sophisticated 50MP periscope telephoto camera. Both models are also equipped with a rear woofer powered by Bose.
