The listing on Geekbench features the Galaxy A18 model SM-A185G, which is powered by MediaTek's MT6789 octa-core processor, the same chipset seen in the Galaxy A17 4G. Previous rumors suggested that the Galaxy A18 will have a MediaTek chip for its 4G variant, while the 5G model will leverage Qualcomm's technology.

In the Geekbench report, the Galaxy A18 was tested with 4GB of RAM and runs on Android 17, likely featuring One UI 9. The phone achieved scores of 745 in the single-core test and 2,073 in the multi-core test, showcasing its competitive performance capabilities.
Apart from the SM-A185G variant, there's another model, the SM-A185F, which also appears to be powered by the Helio G99 and has already been spotted in test firmware on Samsung's European servers.
In terms of design, the Galaxy A18 4G is expected to maintain a similar aesthetic to the Galaxy A17. Leaked images indicate a sleek Infinity-U notched display, along with a stylish vertically aligned triple-camera array on the back.
