Motorola has recently expanded its tablet lineup with the announcement of the Moto Pad 70, a sleek and powerful device aimed at providing users with a seamless blend of functionality and portability. Following the releases of the Moto Pad 70 Pro and the Moto Pad 70 Groove, the Moto Pad 70 stands out as a premium option equipped with cutting-edge specifications that attract both productivity enthusiasts and entertainment seekers alike.
The Moto Pad 70 is touted as the "thinnest and lightest 5G tablet," boasting a formidable design with a thickness of just 6.49mm (the Wi-Fi variant is 6.29mm) and a lightweight of 530 grams, making it incredibly portable. It is built to empower users with versatile applications across various domains, including work and play.
At the heart of the device lies a 12.1-inch 90Hz LCD display featuring a stunning resolution of 2,560x1,600 pixels and an impressive brightness of 800 nits. The tablet supports stylus input, enhancing creativity and productivity. Under its sleek exterior, the Moto Pad 70 is powered by the Dimensity 6400 SoC, complemented by 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage, expandable up to a staggering 2TB through a microSD card.
On the software front, the Moto Pad 70 runs on the older Android 16, with plans for an upgrade to Android 17 in the near future. While this decision may seem outdated, Motorola has promised three years of security updates for the device. Additionally, users will benefit from AI features such as AI Rewrite, AI Summary, and AI Continue Writing, making full use of the Moto Pen stylus. For photography enthusiasts, the tablet is equipped with a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front-facing camera.
Powering the Moto Pad 70 is a robust 10,200 mAh battery, supporting 45W charging, and bundled with a 68W power adapter. Other notable features include an IP52 rating for dust and water resistance, quad speakers tuned by Dolby Atmos, USB-C connectivity, dual microphones, and support for voice calls as well as keyboards. The device also has a dedicated microSD card slot for extra storage capacity.
The Moto Pad 70’s elegant design is available in a single Pantone Sea Angel color and comes in two memory variants - 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB. Motorola has confirmed the price for the 256GB model at INR 33,999. Users will find the Moto Pen included in the package, while the Moto Folio keyboard will be offered separately for those seeking enhanced productivity.
