Redmi recently launched the Note 17 and Note 17 Pro in China, and the Indian version of the Note 17 has now been spotted on Geekbench. This breakthrough indicates that the device's chipset and RAM specifications are now confirmed.
The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 SoC, identical to that of the Chinese Note 17. The benchmark test was conducted with a unit featuring 8GB of RAM, and the device operates on Android 16. As shown in the screenshot below, it attained a single-core score of 950 and a multi-core score of 2,324 in Geekbench version 6.7.1.
Recent rumors suggest that the Redmi Note 17 is set to launch in India on August 6. If these reports hold true, the device will maintain the same specifications as its Chinese counterpart, featuring a 7-inch 1080x2396 OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,800 nits. It will also offer storage options of 128GB or 256GB, a 50MP main camera, an 8MP front camera, and a robust 8,000 mAh battery that supports both 45W wired and 22.5W reverse wired charging.
