Redmi Note 17 for India Surfaces on Geekbench with Snapdragon Chipset and 8GB RAM

Earlier this month, Redmi introduced the Note 17 and Note 17 Pro in China. Now, it appears that the Indian version of the Note 17 has been benchmarked on Geekbench, providing insights into its specifications.

The device is powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 SoC, which is the same chipset found in the Chinese variant. The unit that underwent testing is equipped with 8GB of RAM and runs Android 16. As shown in the screenshot below, it achieved a single-core score of 950 and a multi-core score of 2,324 in Geekbench version 6.7.1.

Recent rumors suggest that the Redmi Note 17 will officially launch in India on August 6, retaining the specifications of its Chinese counterpart. If this is accurate, the phone will feature a 7-inch 1080x2396 OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,800 nits. It is expected to offer storage options of 128GB or 256GB, a 50MP main camera, an 8MP front-facing camera, and an 8,000 mAh battery with 45W wired charging capabilities and 22.5W reverse wired charging.
