Last month, Asus marked its return to the Android tablet market by unveiling the 12.2-inch Asus Pad. The company has now confirmed that the tablet will be available in India, launching on August 6 at 12:00 noon local time. However, the price has yet to be announced.
The Asus Pad features an OLED screen with a resolution of 2800x1840, a 144Hz refresh rate, a 3:2 aspect ratio, and a peak brightness of 2,000 nits. It is equipped with four speakers that support Dolby Atmos 360. The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 SoC, combined with 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and options for 128GB or 256GB of expandable UFS 3.1 storage.
The rear of the tablet boasts a 13MP camera with an LED flash, while the front features a 5MP camera. A robust 9,000 mAh battery supports 45W fast charging. Measuring 271.1 x 182.4 x 6.5 mm and weighing 523g, the Asus Pad will include a protective case in the box. It operates on Android 16 and will be available exclusively in Pure White.
