In contrast, the Chinese variant of the Redmi Note 17 Pro offers options of 8GB and 12GB of RAM and storage variants of 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB.
The global model is identified by the model number 2607DRA18G, whereas the Chinese version carries the model number 2607DRA18C. The last letter in the model number signifies the intended market; 'C' indicates China, while 'G' is for global markets.
Notably, the Redmi Note 17 Pro will also be available under the Poco brand, identified by the model number 2607DPC18G. This number replaces the 'RA' in Redmi with 'PC' for Poco, indicating that it is essentially the same model but branded differently.
The specific name for this Poco variant is still unknown; however, we recently encountered the Poco M8 Power, which appears to be a rebranded version of the Chinese Redmi Note 17. According to a reliable tipster on X, the global Redmi Note 17 Pro will feature an 8,340 mAh battery, likely marketed as having a typical capacity of 8,500 mAh. This is a reduction from the Chinese model's capacity of 9,000 mAh, while there are also indications that the Indian version may retain the 9,000 mAh option.
