OnePlus has officially announced its exit from the European and North American markets while confirming the continuation of its operations in India.
In both Europe and North America, the company will no longer launch new products. However, existing devices will still receive software updates and security patches as scheduled. Customer service channels will remain available to address warranty and support claims.
The North American Community website and app will be deactivated on August 16, 2026, at 11:59 PM ET. Meanwhile, the European Community and stores will remain operational for the time being.
In India, OnePlus will continue its regular operations, with new product launches anticipated, including the forthcoming OnePlus N6x.
Additionally, OnePlus confirmed that all eligible existing devices will transition from OxygenOS to ColorOS with the Android 17 update across all regions.
This announcement comes after weeks of speculation surrounding the brand's withdrawal from western markets. Recently, a report by Bloomberg suggested that operations in India may cease by 2027, leaving only operations in China.
