The European Product Registry for Energy Labeling (EPREL) has published the endurance ratings for both the Galaxy Z Fold8 and the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, scoring 49:10 hours and 51:00 hours, respectively. These ratings are achieved with battery capacities of 4,800 mAh and 5,000 mAh.
In comparison, the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra presents a notable advancement when juxtaposed with its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Fold7, which had a rating of 40:28 hours and a 4,400 mAh battery. This reflects an approximate 20% improvement in battery life.
While individual experiences may vary based on personal usage patterns, it is clear that the new Galaxy Z Fold8 series will feature larger batteries, marking a substantial and necessary upgrade.
