Recent leaks have uncovered detailed specifications for Samsung's anticipated Galaxy Z Fold8 and Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra. These revelations come from a trusted source, highlighting what we can expect from these upcoming devices.
The Galaxy Z Fold8 is designed as a wide-style foldable device, competing directly with the iPhone Ultra. It features a 7.6-inch main folding display with a resolution of 2448x1848 and a 4:3 aspect ratio, complemented by a 5.5-inch cover display at 1248x1972 resolution. Both displays support a 120Hz refresh rate and utilize a titanium substrate, which aims to make the crease nearly invisible.

The device will be available in Graphite, Cream, and Lavender, with an exclusive Pistachio option for Samsung's online store.
Photography capabilities include a 50MP main camera (f/1.8) and a 50MP ultrawide camera (f/1.9), along with two 10MP front-facing cameras (f/2.2). The device is equipped with a 4,800 mAh battery that supports 45W wired charging, along with wireless charging, ensuring it retains at least 80% of its capacity after 1,200 charge cycles.
When unfolded, the Fold8 measures 4.5mm in thickness, featuring IP48 certification for dust and water resistance. The overall weight is 201g, with a starting price of €1,999 in Germany.
The Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, which serves as the true successor to the Galaxy Z Fold7, boasts an internal folding display with a resolution of 2256x2504, representing an upgrade from its predecessor. It also features a 6.5-inch cover display with a resolution of 1080x2520, both capable of 120Hz refresh rates.

The Ultra variant packs a larger 5,000 mAh battery, supporting 45W wired charging and wireless charging, ensuring it also meets the 1,200 charge cycle certification before dropping below 80% capacity. When unfolded, the Fold8 Ultra has a thickness of 4.1mm and weighs 218g. Available colors will include Graphite, Cream, and Violet Shadow, with a Green Shadow variant exclusive to Samsung's online store, and a starting price of €2,199.
