HMD Arc 2 Launch: Upgraded Features with a Familiar Design

HMD has quietly introduced the HMD Arc 2, its latest smartphone model. While it features a new name and design, there are minimal upgrades compared to its predecessor. The Arc 2 runs on Android 14 Go and includes a 6.52-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate.

Under the hood, the device is powered by the Unisoc T603 chipset, an improved version of the Unisoc SC9863A found in the original HMD Arc. The T603 is manufactured using an efficient 12nm process and has a maximum clock speed of 1.8 GHz. It is coupled with 4GB of RAM and offers storage options of 64GB or 128GB, along with an expandable SD card slot.

The rear features a single 13MP camera, while the front houses a 5MP selfie camera within a waterdrop notch. The Arc 2 is equipped with a robust 5,000mAh battery supporting 10W charging, a USB-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Available in Dark Blue and Golden Beige, the HMD Arc 2 will launch in Thailand on July 20, priced at THB 2,990 (approximately $90/€78).
