Samsung is discontinuing the Vascular Load feature on its smartwatches in the United States. This feature will be removed with the launch of Samsung Health version 7.0 and One UI 9 Watch, expected in late July.

The upcoming Galaxy Watch 9 and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2, set to be unveiled on July 22, will come with One UI 9 Watch pre-installed. Existing devices will receive updates gradually thereafter.

After the Vascular Load feature is deactivated, the data will no longer be visible in Samsung Health. However, users can download this information anytime by navigating to More options > Settings > Download personal data.

In place of Vascular Load, Samsung will introduce a new feature called Blood Pressure Trend, which will be available on the forthcoming Galaxy Watch. This feature will allow users to monitor their blood pressure over time and provide tips to encourage healthy habits. Initial setup will require users to utilize a blood pressure cuff to configure their Galaxy Watch.
