The Samsung Galaxy A27 has been the focus of multiple leaks in recent weeks, but Samsung Czechia has put an end to the speculation by officially listing the device on its website.

This new model is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, replacing the Exynos 1280 and 1380 found in its predecessors. The Snapdragon processor is complemented by options of 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of internal storage.

On the front, the A27 features a modern punch-hole design for its 12MP selfie camera. The device comes with a vibrant 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display, offering Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.

At the rear, the A27 includes a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS). This is accompanied by a 5MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro camera. Notably, the ultrawide camera has a lower resolution than the previous 8MP camera seen on the Galaxy A26, which is a curious decision. Furthermore, the front-facing camera has been downgraded from a 13MP lens on the A26 to 12MP on the A27.
In another unexpected change, the A27 has an IP64 rating for splash resistance, whereas last year’s A26 boasted an IP67 certification.
Battery Life and Software Support
The Galaxy A27 continues to offer a robust 5,000mAh battery alongside 25W charging speeds, just like its predecessor. It launches with OneUI 8.5, based on Android 16, and Samsung has committed to providing six Android version updates along with six years of security patches.
The device will be available in black, blue, light green, and pink colors, with storage options of either 128GB or 256GB. While official pricing details are still awaited, a recent leak suggests that the 6GB/128GB model will start at €349 in the Eurozone, with the 8GB/256GB version expected to reach €439.
