Apple has officially announced the supported devices for its latest software updates: iOS 27, macOS 27 Golden Gate, iPadOS 27, and watchOS 27, revealed during WWDC 2026. The company has also released the first developer betas of the new software, with stable versions expected to launch later this year.
Starting with iOS 27, this update will be compatible with the iPhone SE (2nd generation), the iPhone 11 series, and newer models. In essence, any iPhone that currently supports iOS 26 will also be eligible for iOS 27. However, some advanced features, including select AI capabilities in Siri, will be restricted to certain iPhone models.

For iPad users, iPadOS 27 will be available on the iPad mini (6th generation) and subsequent models, including the iPad mini with A17 Pro. It will also support the iPad (9th generation and later), iPad with A16 chip, iPad Air (4th generation and later), and iPad Air models powered by the M2 chip and newer. Additionally, the update will be compatible with the 13-inch iPad Air. On the Pro side, iPadOS 27 will work with the 11-inch iPad Pro (2nd generation and later), the 12.9-inch iPad Pro (4th generation and later), and iPad Pro models equipped with M4 or newer chips.

The macOS 27 Golden Gate update will be available for Apple silicon-powered Macs, including the Mac Pro, Mac Studio (2022 and later), Mac mini (2020 and later), iMac (2021 and later), MacBook Pro (2020 and later), and MacBook Air (2020 and newer). Notably, the newly introduced MacBook Neo is also included in the list of supported devices.

Lastly, watchOS 27 will be available for the Apple Watch SE (3rd generation), Apple Watch Series 9 and newer models, in addition to the Apple Watch Ultra 2 and Ultra 3.
