Vivo has officially launched its V70 Lite mid-range smartphone in the UAE. This device features a similar design and specifications to its predecessor, the V60 Lite, with one notable upgrade: a more powerful chipset.

The V70 Lite is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7400 Turbo chip, which replaces the previous model’s Dimensity 7360 SoC. Despite their similar naming, the 7400 offers slightly improved performance with its ARM Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2.6 GHz, compared to 2.5 GHz on the 7360. Additionally, the new smartphone is equipped with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and offers storage options of 128GB or 256GB via UFS 3.1.

In terms of core specifications, the V70 Lite retains familiar features. It sports a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen reaches a peak brightness of 3,000 nits and includes a 32MP front-facing camera nestled within a punch-hole cutout, alongside an optical fingerprint scanner.

The rear of the device features a 50MP main camera (IMX882) with an f/1.8 aperture, complemented by an 8MP ultrawide lens. It retains the robust 6,500mAh battery, capable of 90W wired charging, while software is handled by OriginOS 6, based on Android 16.

The Vivo V70 Lite is available in black and gold color options, starting at AED 1,099 ($299/€257) for the 8GB/128GB model and going up to AED 1,299 ($354/€304) for the 8GB/256GB variant.
