Vivo has began teasing its next-generation foldable smartphone, the vivo X Fold6. Senior executives from vivo have shared crucial details about the device on Weibo, providing an exciting preview of what consumers can expect.
In addition to these announcements, real-world images of the vivo X Fold6 have emerged online after the device was reportedly spotted in action.
According to vivo, the foldable will be launched with OriginOS 6 Fold, which will introduce an upgraded Atomic Workbench aimed at enhancing multitasking and productivity. This new software will also provide an improved AI assistant along with a host of newly integrated AI-powered features.
A vivo executive further disclosed that OriginOS 6 Fold will facilitate the simultaneous operation of multiple apps and AI functionalities.
The teaser images also offer insights into the vivo X Fold6's inner display, which appears to feature more rounded corners and a wider aspect ratio compared to its predecessor, the vivo X Fold5.
In separate news, a tipster has released real-world images showcasing the device in a green color variant, which largely retains the design language of the previous model.
Recent rumors suggest that the vivo X Fold6 may feature an 8-inch inner screen, a 6.51-inch outer display, a Dimensity 9500 chipset, and a substantial 6,900mAh battery. The smartphone is expected to be officially launched in China later this month.
