Huawei has quietly introduced the nova Y74 in global markets, nearly one year after the release of the nova Y73. This budget-friendly 4G smartphone boasts a 6.67-inch display and a remarkable 6,620mAh battery, appearing to be a rebadged version of the Enjoy 90 Plus, which made its debut in China in March.
The nova Y74 features a 6.67-inch LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate, HD+ resolution, and peaks at 850 nits of brightness.
While Huawei has not disclosed the specific chipset for this device, its close resemblance to the Enjoy 90 Plus suggests it may be equipped with a Kirin 800-series processor.
Powered by a substantial 6,620mAh battery, the device supports 40W wired fast charging. Huawei claims that a single charge can facilitate up to 25 hours of online video playback.
In terms of photography, the nova Y74 includes a 50MP primary rear camera installed in a square module, while the front hosts an 8MP selfie camera for capturing photos and conducting video calls.
The smartphone operates on EMUI 12 and features Huawei's X Button, which allows seamless one-tap access to apps, shortcuts, and various functions.
