Revealing the iPhone Fold: Apple’s Innovative Design in Silver and Navy Blue

Source: Date:

Have you ever imagined Apple’s first foldable device as a wide-style format rather than the traditional book-style or flip design? According to a recent photo shared by Ice Universe on Weibo, that’s precisely the direction Cupertino has taken.

This isn't unexpected; earlier leaks have showcased dummies with this wide design and CAD schematics revealing its dimensions—120.6 mm tall and 167.6 mm wide when unfolded. When folded, the device is anticipated to measure 9.23 mm (13 mm including the camera island).

The photo also highlights one of the two available colors: Silver and Navy Blue. Notably, Apple will not offer vibrant colors for its first foldable and there will be no third camera. However, details about the two existing camera modules remain scarce.

The Apple iPhone Fold is expected to launch this September, aiming to rapidly position Apple among the Top 3 foldable manufacturers in the market. However, prospective buyers should prepare for a hefty price tag of around $2,000, and initial supplies may be limited at launch.
