Samsung is set to incorporate the Exynos 2600 SoC in the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip8. However, a recent report from a South Korean source has revealed that the device will feature both the Exynos 2600 and a Qualcomm chip, likely the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, with the choice depending on the buyer's region.

This strategy is not unprecedented for Samsung; historically, North America tends to receive the Snapdragon version. According to this report, the decision to use both chipsets stems from the high costs associated with the Exynos 2600. Qualcomm reportedly seized this opportunity by offering Samsung a competitive pricing deal for its chips.

The Galaxy Z Flip8 is rumored to be both thinner and lighter than its predecessor, though there are no significant updates to its camera system.
