The much-anticipated Tecno Pova 8 5G is set to officially launch in India on June 11 at 12 PM local time. The brand has recently unveiled the device's design through an engaging teaser video.
The teaser showcases a unique dot matrix display located on the back of the handset, which is integrated into the camera island. This design choice reflects inspiration from the Nothing phone, featuring not only the dot matrix screen but also a faux transparent appearance.
Additionally, details etched on the rear panel indicate that the Pova 8 5G boasts an impressive 8,000 mAh battery, tying with the Pova Curve 2 for the largest battery capacity from Tecno to date. Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 SoC, the phone will offer configurations of 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. It will run on Android 16 out of the box. According to FCC certification, the Pova 8 5G's battery will support fast charging at up to 45W via a wired connection.
