Rumors surrounding Oppo's upcoming Find X10 family suggest that the Find X10 Pro Max may face significant challenges. According to a recent update from the reliable source Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the release of this model could be delayed or possibly even canceled.
The key issue lies in the anticipated price point of CNY 7,000 (approximately $1,028). Reports indicate that many consumers in China may not be ready to invest in a device featuring the Dimensity 9600 chipset.
Oppo Find X9 ProThis price tag is surprising for the Chinese market, likely influenced by ongoing memory shortages. While Oppo appeared to be aligning its launch strategy with Xiaomi, which released the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max last year and is preparing the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max for this fall, it seems the same fate may not be in store for Oppo.
Specifications for the Find X10 Pro Max include an impressive 200MP main camera with a 1/1.3-inch type sensor, a 200MP periscope telephoto camera equipped with a 1/1.28-inch type sensor, and an ultrawide configuration that may feature either 200MP or 50MP. As for the display, two options are being considered: a 6.89-inch "2K" LTPO OLED panel or a slightly smaller 6.78-inch "1.5K" LTPO OLED panel.
