According to a recent report from Korea, Samsung Display has achieved over 90% yield for the OLED panels designated for the upcoming Apple MacBook Pro, with some processes even reaching 95% yields.
The panels are expected to enter mass production and be shipped to Apple's assemblers as early as June, with an estimated supply volume of approximately 2 million units.

Manufacturing OLED panels for laptops is notably more challenging than for smartphones due to the larger surface area and additional requirements for brightness, longevity, and uniformity.
Apple is anticipated to unveil the MacBook Ultra this year or next, which is rumored to feature an OLED touchscreen. In contrast, the next-generation MacBook Pro is expected to incorporate an OLED panel but without touch functionality.
