Oppo Reno16 Series: Camera Specifications Unveiled Before China Launch

Oppo has unveiled further details about the upcoming Reno16 series in anticipation of its launch in China. The Reno16 and Reno16 Pro are currently available for pre-order, with their designs already showcased by the company.

The latest announcement reveals the camera specifications for these smartphones. The Reno16 series will feature a triple rear camera setup, led by a remarkable 200MP primary sensor.

Additionally, the series will include a 50MP periscope telephoto camera and a 50MP ultrawide camera. On the front, both models will be equipped with a 50MP ultrawide selfie camera.

While Oppo has not disclosed the exact sensors utilized in the devices, the fine print in the teaser indicates that there may be variations in camera hardware between the two models.

According to recent rumors, the Reno16 Pro may feature a 6.78-inch LTPO display and be powered by a Dimensity 9500s chipset. It is expected to house a substantial 7,000mAh battery and come with a sturdy metal frame.

Conversely, the standard Reno16 is rumored to sport a 6.3-inch display and utilize a Dimensity 8000-series SoC.
