In March, renders of the upcoming Oura Ring 5 surfaced, showcasing its new design. Recently, an internal document allegedly from the company was shared on Reddit, revealing the official launch date.
The launch is scheduled for May 28, coinciding with the opening of pre-orders. The ring is expected to begin shipping on June 4. The document includes images of both the ring and its charging case, which align with the leaked visuals from March, providing strong confirmation of the redesign.

The Oura Ring 5 promises to be smaller and more comfortable than its predecessor while maintaining the same health tracking and subscription features as the Ring 4. Interestingly, the sensor package appears unchanged; the focus has shifted to enhancing the functionality of existing sensors for more accurate data collection with lower power consumption.
According to the leaked document, the charging case can recharge the ring four times. However, pricing details were not included, and we will need to wait for the official announcement next week to learn more.
