Yesterday, Xiaomi officially announced that the 17T and 17T Pro will launch on May 28. Today, its Indian division began teasing that the series will also be available in India.
This is noteworthy as it's been years since a T series Xiaomi device was officially introduced in the Indian market. While one of these models will definitely be available, Xiaomi has not confirmed whether both the 17T and the 17T Pro will be released. There is considerable speculation suggesting that only the more affordable model will be launched.
However, this remains speculation for now, and we should wait for official confirmation. Xiaomi promises that the 17T family represents its "biggest T series upgrade yet," which is certainly intriguing.
Additionally, Xiaomi has not provided an explanation for the relatively short eight-month gap between this launch and its predecessors, as the usual interval has been around one year. Perhaps more details will be revealed during the launch event? Stay tuned for updates.
