The Trump Mobile T1 Phone, originally slated for launch in August of last year, is finally becoming a reality. Customers who placed $100 pre-sale orders will soon receive their devices, as the company has begun distributing units to the media, indicating that customer shipments will commence shortly.

However, there are some notable discrepancies. One significant change is the phone's new design, which differs considerably from earlier representations. Additionally, the American flag emblazoned on the back now features 11 stripes rather than the traditional 13.

Another important alteration is in the labeling; the phone is no longer advertised as being made in the US, but rather as “proudly assembled in the US,” indicating that most components are imported.

The entry-level 256GB model retains its launch price of $499, which is competitive within the US market. However, the rumored specifications may not fully justify the cost.

While detailed specifications have not been officially released, a company representative previously suggested that the phone would feature a Snapdragon 7 series chipset, a 5,000 mAh battery, and a 50MP main camera alongside an ultrawide and telephoto lens.

Furthermore, the phone supports microSD storage expansion and includes a legacy 3.5mm audio jack, which are increasingly uncommon features. These factors, combined with the overall design, suggest that the T1 Phone may actually be a rebadged HTC U24 Pro model from 2024.
