Oppo has officially announced the launch date for its highly anticipated Reno16 series. In addition to the new smartphones, the company will unveil the Oppo Pad 6, Oppo Enco Air 5s, and an innovative selfie accessory known as the Oppo Bubble.
The Oppo Reno16, Reno16 Pro, Pad 6, and Enco Air 5s will debut in China on May 25, with pre-reservations now open on Oppo's official online store.
Oppo has confirmed that the Reno16 series will feature an impressive 200MP triple rear camera setup. The Pro model will be available in three color options: Heartbeat, Dream Blue, and Moonlit Black.
This model will come in various configurations, including 12GB/256GB, 12GB/512GB, and 16GB/512GB.
The standard Reno16 phone will also offer an appealing color palette, including Heartbeat, Moonlit Black, and Galaxy Purple. Available configurations will include 12GB/256GB, 12GB/512GB, 16GB/256GB, 16GB/512GB, and a remarkable 16GB/1TB option.
In addition, Oppo is set to introduce the Oppo Bubble accessory with the Reno16 series. This unique accessory attaches to the back of the phone and features a circular display.
The rear-facing screen is expected to function as a viewfinder, enabling users to perfectly frame selfies using the main rear cameras. Notably, the Oppo Bubble could also be used with any smartphone that supports magnetic attachments.
Oppo has also revealed the design and essential specifications of the Pad 6 tablet and Enco Air 5s wireless earbuds.
The Oppo Pad 6 will boast a 3K resolution display, a robust 10,420mAh battery, and the powerful MediaTek Dimensity 9500s processor.
As for the Oppo Enco Air 5s, while only a few details have been shared thus far, the earbuds are expected to deliver up to 48 hours of total battery life when combined with the charging case, featuring a semi-in-ear design.
According to a recent leak, the Reno16 Pro is rumored to feature a 6.78-inch LTPO display, paired with the Dimensity 9500s chipset and a significant 7,000mAh battery.
In comparison, the standard Reno16 is expected to offer a 6.31-inch screen and be powered by the Dimensity 8500 SoC.
