These AI glasses, powered by Android XR, will allow hands-free access to Gemini through voice commands. Users can expect features like turn-by-turn navigation, recommendations for nearby places, and personalized suggestions delivered in real time.

Additionally, the glasses will include various productivity tools, such as the ability to place orders, view summarized message notifications, and create calendar events.

Moreover, the Android XR glasses will facilitate real-time translation during conversations, with built-in camera functionality enabling instant translation of text and signs. Users can also capture photos and videos using the camera.

Similar to existing smart glasses on the market, this new device will function as a companion accessory that pairs with a smartphone.

While comprehensive hardware specifications are yet to be unveiled, official images suggest the glasses will include a single camera and an LED indicator light.

The AI-powered smart glasses from Samsung and Google are expected to launch later this fall, with more details anticipated in the coming months.
