A few days ago, Apple announced a new promotional offer for those signing up for the Apple Card: a complimentary pair of AirPods Pro 3. This promotion went live today, but the details are not as straightforward as initially suggested.
To qualify, you must be a new customer and not previously hold an Apple Card. Applications must be submitted by June 15. Once approved, you can purchase a pair of AirPods Pro 3 directly from Apple by the same deadline. Then, starting from July 1, 2026, until April 30, 2027, you will receive $25 cashback each month for a total of ten months. This means the $250 spent on the AirPods Pro 3 will be fully refunded after ten months.
To access the $25 monthly cashback, you must complete at least ten transactions with your Apple Card each month. Fortunately, any amount qualifies—transactions can be as low as one cent.
This means you'll effectively receive the AirPods Pro 3 for free, but only by making a minimum of 100 purchases with your Apple Card (10 per month over 10 months). Additionally, you'll receive the total cashback at the end of April next year.
