Current rumors suggest that the upcoming headphones will be positioned as a more premium offering, existing alongside the WH-1000XM6 rather than replacing it. Reports indicate a price point of $649, which is slightly higher than the typical WH-1000X range, and feature a refreshed leather design. The headphones may be branded as ColleXion.
In addition to the updated aesthetics, the ColleXion headphones are expected to introduce a suite of premium features and enhanced hardware capabilities. Sony is clearly enthusiastic about this launch, having dedicated an entire event to showcase its new flagship headphones lineup.
