Recently, it was announced that Lenovo is re-entering the smartphone market with a refreshed version of the Legion Y70, initially launched in 2022. The 2026 edition is expected to be a completely new device that retains the old name, possibly for brand recognition, especially in the Chinese market.
Today, Lenovo released a teaser video showcasing the design of the new Y70, highlighting its similarities to Motorola’s style. This design choice is likely intentional, as Lenovo owns Motorola and may have opted to incorporate its established aesthetics to streamline development.
The upcoming Y70 is set to feature advanced AI capabilities. However, specific technical specifications have yet to be disclosed. Lenovo has announced that the official unveiling will take place on May 19th. This leaves ample opportunity for additional teasers and specifications to be revealed in the meantime, so stay tuned for updates.
