Apple Intelligence is set to receive enhancements in iOS 27, which will be announced this June during the company's annual Worldwide Developers Conference and is expected to launch in September alongside the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max.
Recent findings in the backend code reveal four new features coming to Apple Intelligence. First, Visual Intelligence will be upgraded to scan food nutrition labels, providing additional information that could integrate with the Health app.

Another enhancement to Visual Intelligence will enable users to add printed phone numbers and addresses directly to their Contacts. This feature builds on the existing functionality that allows users to add events to their Calendar, making the expansion to Contacts a natural progression.
Additionally, Apple Wallet will be equipped to generate digital passes from scans of event tickets and gym membership cards. This feature mirrors capabilities already available in Google Wallet on Android, making Apple’s adoption both logical and beneficial for users.
Lastly, Safari will utilize AI to automatically assign names to tab groups based on the content of the tabs within each group. While this may not seem significant, it could prove highly advantageous for many users.
