Honor Play 80 Launches Officially with Key Specifications
Honor has expanded its lineup with the release of the Honor Play 80, complementing the recently unveiled Play 80 Pro. Designed to cater to a wide audience, the Honor Play 80 features notable specifications aimed at delivering a balanced performance for everyday use.
The Honor Play 80 boasts a 6.75-inch LCD display, offering a resolution of 720x1600 pixels and a refresh rate of 90Hz, ensuring a smooth visual experience for users. Under the hood, the device is powered by the 5G-capable MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chip, although it runs on Android 15 with Honor's MagicOS 9 on top, a choice that might seem outdated as we approach 2026.
Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera, allowing for decent image quality. Keeping the device operational is a robust 5,300 mAh battery, which supports 15W wired charging.
The device is compactly designed, measuring 167 x 77 x 7.89 mm and weighing 186g. It will be available in two shades of blue and black, with various RAM/storage configurations: 4/128GB, 6/128GB, 6/256GB, and 8/256GB, catering to different user needs.
