Samsung Galaxy S26 Series: Comprehensive Pricing Breakdown and Pre-Order Details

Samsung has officially unveiled the Galaxy S26 Ultra, along with the Galaxy S26 and S26+, during its annual Unpacked event. For more details on the new models, please refer to the relevant announcement articles; this piece will primarily focus on pricing.

This year, the pricing landscape is more complex than usual. Several months ago, memory costs began to climb significantly, affecting the smartphone market. As such, varying prices were anticipated.

It is important to note that the standard Samsung Galaxy S26 now begins with a base storage of 256GB, compared to the S25, which started at 128GB. However, due to the aforementioned memory price increases, the cost of a 256GB S26 has risen. The Galaxy S26+ previously featured a base storage of 256GB, but its price has also increased this year.

Contrarily, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra bucks this trend, as the base model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced lower in some regions than the S25 Ultra was last year. That said, the higher memory configurations have become more expensive.

Additionally, it's worth mentioning that only the S26 Ultra offers a 1TB storage option, now accompanied by 16GB of RAM. Last year’s pricing for the S25 Ultra was based on the 12GB of RAM variant, which was the most commonly available.

The phones are available for pre-order starting today, with a retail launch set for March 11. If you pre-reserved a unit, you should have received an email with a $30/€30 discount—check your mailbox for details! In some regions, customers can benefit from free storage upgrades, enabling them to purchase a phone from the second column at the price listed in the first column. As for the 1TB S26 Ultra, this upgrade isn’t straightforward, but discounts are available from the listed price.

Lastly, Samsung also introduced the Galaxy Buds4 and Buds4 Pro, priced at $180/€180 and $250/€250, respectively, aligning with last year’s prices.
