iQOO has launched the iQOO 15R, marking its debut as the first 'R' model in the company's lineup in India. This device is designed for young professionals seeking a compact yet powerful smartphone.
The iQOO 15R showcases a 6.59-inch AMOLED display, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC and a substantial 7,600 mAh battery.
Protected by Schott Xensation Alpha glass, the display offers a 144Hz refresh rate, a resolution of 2,750x1,260 pixels, and an impressive peak brightness of 5,000 nits. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 is complemented by up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage, while the device runs on Android 16-based OriginOS 6 out of the box. iQOO promises four years of OS upgrades and six years of security updates for this smartphone.
Equipped with a 7,600 mAh battery, the iQOO 15R supports 100W wired charging. It can recharge from 1% to 50% in just 33 minutes and reach 100% in 63 minutes using the bundled 100W power adapter. The device also supports bypass charging and reverse wired charging.
The iQOO 15R features a triple-camera setup that includes a 50MP primary camera (Sony LYT-700V), an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 32MP front-facing camera.
Additional features of the iQOO 15R include the Q2 Supercomputing Chip, a 6.5K IceCore VC Cooling System, and support for 144 FPS gaming in BGMI through frame interpolation technology. It also includes a 3D ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, NFC, stereo speakers, an IR blaster, and holds IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance.
The iQOO 15R is available in two color options: Dark Knight and Triumph Silver. The Dark Knight model measures 7.90mm in thickness, weighs 202g, and features a fiberglass back. In contrast, the Triumph Silver model is 8.10mm thick, weighs 206g, and has a glass back.

Memory configurations for the iQOO 15R include: 8GB/256GB, 12GB/256GB, and 12GB/512GB, priced at INR 44,999 ($495/€420), INR 47,999 ($530/€450), and INR 52,999 ($580/€495), respectively. Customers who buy the phone using HDFC Bank or Axis Bank credit or debit cards can avail a discount of INR 4,000 ($45/€40).
Starting March 3, the iQOO 15R will be available for purchase in India through iQOO's official website, Amazon.in, Vivo exclusive stores, Reliance Digital, and various offline retailers.
Furthermore, the iQOO 15R is now open for pre-orders across the same channels, and customers who pre-order will receive a pair of vivo/iQOO TWS earphones valued at INR 1,899 ($20/€18) as a complimentary gift. Pre-order sales will commence on March 2 at 10 AM IST.
