Vivo Developing Smartphone With Massive 12,000mAh Battery, Insider Reveals

A new vivo smartphone may soon join the ranks of devices featuring batteries of 10,000mAh or more. According to a trusted tipster, the company is currently in the testing phase for such a device.

Tipster Digital Chat Station disclosed in a Weibo post that vivo is experimenting with a phone that incorporates a 10,000mAh silicon-carbon battery.

The tipster indicates that the device is equipped with a 4.53V single-cell silicon battery, boasting a rated capacity of 10,000mAh. Its typical capacity is estimated to fall between 11,000mAh and 12,000mAh.

However, the launch of this vivo phone is unlikely to take place in the near future, as it must undergo rigorous testing. It is also expected not to be a flagship model, but rather a mid-range option, potentially under the iQOO brand.

Recently, several smartphone manufacturers have introduced devices featuring batteries of 10,000mAh or larger. Honor released the Win and Win RT models, both housing 10,000mAh batteries, followed by the Honor Power2 with a 10,080mAh cell. Additionally, the Realme P4 Power is equipped with a 10,001mAh battery.
