Galaxy S26 Ultra S Pen Lacks Bluetooth Features: What You Need to Know

Source: Date:

Last year, Samsung made the controversial decision to remove Bluetooth capabilities from the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s S Pen. If you were hoping for a return of these features with the S26 Ultra, we have some disappointing news.

A recent hands-on video of the S26 Ultra reveals that the S Pen will again lack Bluetooth functionality and will strictly operate as a stylus. This video comes from YouTuber Sahil Karoul, who obtained a Galaxy S26 Ultra unit prior to its official announcement.

Previously, Bluetooth-enabled S Pens allowed users to utilize the stylus as a compact remote for various tasks, including activating the camera shutter, navigating photos in the gallery, or controlling presentation slides.

The absence of Bluetooth functionality in the S Pen from the S25 Ultra even led to speculation that Samsung might be considering eliminating stylus support in its Galaxy S Ultra line altogether. Fortunately, this rumor does not appear to be true, at least for the S26 generation.
