The fifth beta of One UI 8.5 has officially launched, incorporating the February Android security patch and introducing an upgraded version of Bixby, now branded as a conversational device agent.
In a recent press release, Samsung outlined the innovative features that will accompany Bixby in One UI 8.5, which is anticipated to be released alongside the Galaxy S26 series on February 25.

The enhanced Bixby offers users the capability to manage and control device settings using natural language. For instance, users can express a desire to keep their screen on while viewing it, prompting Bixby to automatically activate the "Keep screen on while viewing" setting.
Moreover, the updated Bixby includes support for real-time web searches, allowing the chatbot to provide current and relevant information for user inquiries. The results appear seamlessly within the Bixby interface.

If you are using the latest One UI 8.5 Beta 5, you can experience the new Bixby functionality. Currently, this feature is accessible in select regions, including Germany, India, Korea, Poland, the UK, and the US, with a wider rollout anticipated in the future.
