Motorola's Razr 2025 and Razr Ultra 2025, known internationally as the Razr 60 and Razr 60 Ultra, are finally receiving the Android 16 update in the United States. This rollout comes just days after the release of the first beta version of Android 17 by Google, raising questions about Motorola's timeliness, considering Android 16 was first launched back in June of the previous year.
Users of the Razr and Razr Ultra (2025) on T-Mobile or Verizon should expect to receive notifications about the update shortly, if they haven't already. The new build numbers are W1UC36H.96-35-1 for the Razr and W1VL36H.59-55-5 for the Razr Ultra on Verizon.

The update is approximately 4GB in size, so it is advisable to download it on a high-speed network to avoid any errors. As is customary, the rollout will occur in stages, meaning not all users will receive the update at the same time. Nonetheless, the update is finally here.
