Poco X8 Pro Series Specifications Leak Ahead of Launch

The Poco X8 Pro and X8 Pro Max have recently obtained multiple certifications, indicating that their launch is imminent. The Pro variant was spotted on Geekbench, providing insights into its chipset. A tipster has now leaked the complete specifications for both models.

According to the tipster, the Poco X8 Pro Max will be equipped with a Dimensity 9500s chipset, complemented by LPDDR5x Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 storage.

The device is expected to feature a 6.83-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1.5K resolution, and up to 2,000 nits brightness in high mode, along with 3,840Hz PWM support. Additional features include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, dual stereo speakers, an IP69K rating, NFC, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and an IR blaster.

The X8 Pro Max will likely incorporate a 50MP Light Hunter 600 primary rear sensor, paired with an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 20MP front-facing camera. It is said to house an 8,500mAh battery with support for 100W wired fast charging.

In contrast, the Poco X8 Pro is rumored to be powered by the Dimensity 8500 Ultra SoC, featuring a 6.59-inch OLED display, mirroring the specifications of the Pro Max variant, and a 6,500mAh battery also with 100W fast charging support.

The Pro model may include a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary rear camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 20MP selfie camera. It will provide the same IP69K rating, alongside NFC, Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 6, and an IR blaster. Additionally, the X8 Pro is expected to use an optical in-display fingerprint scanner. Both devices are likely to run on Android 16-based HyperOS 3.

An analysis of the leaked specifications suggests that the Poco X8 Pro Max is closely related to the Redmi Turbo 5 Max, while the X8 Pro may be a rebranded version of the Turbo 5.
