Samsung Promotes Galaxy S26 Ultra's Low-Light Camera with AI-Generated Teaser Video

Source: Date:

Samsung has recently highlighted the low-light photography capabilities of its upcoming Galaxy S26 Ultra. In a new promotional effort, the company's US division released a short video showcasing the device's low-light video recording features.

While it's not unusual for companies to produce marketing videos, this particular teaser has raised eyebrows; the disclaimer at the bottom indicates that the video was "generated with the assistance of AI tools." This has led to some confusion regarding the authenticity of the showcased performance.

The video poses the question, "Can your phone do that?" However, given that it was created with AI assistance, it raises the implication that the S26 Ultra may not be capable of achieving those results either. Although Samsung chose to transparently disclose its use of AI, this may have paradoxically undermined the effectiveness of their marketing strategy.

Fans are hopeful that the actual low-light video recording capabilities of the S26 Ultra will exceed expectations set by this AI-generated promo. The phone, alongside the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+, is set to be officially unveiled on February 25. Recently, a comprehensive spec sheet for all three devices was leaked, revealing European pricing as well.
