WhatsApp is reportedly developing a feature that will allow users to schedule messages to be sent automatically in both individual and group chats.
This information was revealed by WABetaInfo, which found evidence of this feature in the beta version 26.7.10.72 of WhatsApp for iOS.
The planned feature, tentatively called Scheduled Messages, will enable users to compose a message and select a date and time for it to be delivered automatically.
Users will be able to view scheduled messages in a dedicated "Scheduled Messages" section within the chat information screen, where they can delete messages before they are sent.
The screenshot showcases this feature in action for group chats, but it is expected that scheduling will also be available for individual chats.
It’s important to note that this feature is currently in development and is not yet accessible to beta users. As a result, there is no confirmation it will be publicly released, as future plans can shift unexpectedly.
