We have received the Alpine Grey variant, which comes bundled with a 90W charger, a USB-C to USB-A cable, and a basic silicone case.
Unboxing the vivo V70
The Alpine Grey version features an intriguing hue that shifts between a light brown and a subdued rose depending on the lighting. Its actual finish is a light grey back panel paired with a slightly darker grey frame.
With its 6.59-inch display and under 8mm profile, the phone feels comfortably compact in hand.
The design of the vivo V70 is well-balanced, boasting flat surfaces and gently rounded corners. Vivo claims multiple polishing processes for the aluminum frame, resulting in a refined aesthetic. All areas that you touch, except for the glossy display and camera lenses, present a subtly matte texture, enhancing its premium feel.

Shifting focus from aesthetics, the V-series by Vivo is renowned for its camera capabilities, as illustrated by the Zeiss logo on the back. It features a classic triple rear camera setup consisting of a 23mm f/1.9 main camera, an 85mm f/2.7 zoom lens, both equipped with 50MP sensors, and an 8MP 15mm f/2.2 ultra-wide camera. This trio is complemented by a customizable ring flash known as the Aura flash.
The front showcases a 21mm selfie camera, also boasting a 50MP sensor.
We find the vivo V70 pleasing to hold, exuding a strong presence. It bears a resemblance to the Oppo Reno15 Pro, although the latter is slightly smaller and feels more premium (albeit only marginally). The V70 is powered by a substantial 6,500mAh battery, engineered for durability. Vivo assures that it can withstand extreme temperatures, which is a reassuring feature to have.
The V70 is currently available for pre-order in regions such as India, with shipping set to commence on February 26. It will also be released in Europe, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia.
