Motorola's Razr 2025 and Razr Ultra 2025, known outside North America as the Razr 60 and Razr 60 Ultra, are finally receiving the Android 16 update in the United States, just days after Google launched the first beta version of Android 17. However, it's worth noting that Motorola's speed in delivering this update is commendable only to a point, as Google first rolled out Android 16 back in June of last year.
For users with the Razr or Razr Ultra (2025) on T-Mobile or Verizon, notifications about the update are expected to arrive soon, if they haven't already. The new build number for Verizon users is W1UC36H.96-35-1 for the Razr and W1VL36H.59-55-5 for the Razr Ultra.

The update is approximately 4GB in size, so ensure to download it over a reliable network to avoid any errors. As is customary, these rollouts will occur in stages, meaning that not all users will receive the update simultaneously. Nonetheless, it is finally on the way.
