The Xiaomi 15T and 15T Pro were launched last September, marking a trend where the entire T series has been unveiled annually during that month. However, a new rumor from China suggests that this pattern may change in 2026.
According to the latest information, Xiaomi plans to launch the 17T and 17T Pro approximately four months earlier than expected, likely around May. If this rumor proves accurate, it would represent a significant adjustment to the company’s overall product launch schedule.
Xiaomi 15T and 15T ProThe Xiaomi 17T is rumored to carry the model number 2602DPT53G, while the 17T Pro will be identified as 2602EPTC0G, with codenames Chagall and Warhol, respectively.
As per the same source, the 17T will be equipped with the Dimensity 8500 SoC, while the 17T Pro will utilize the Dimensity 9500. Notably, their battery capacities are expected to be larger than those of the 15T and 15T Pro, although upgrades to the camera systems are anticipated to be minimal.
Earlier leaks had indicated that the 17T would feature the same camera configuration as the 15T, but with an enhanced battery capacity of 6,500 mAh and 67W charging capabilities. Interestingly, those previous reports suggested the 17T would be powered by the Dimensity 9400 instead of the 8500. This inconsistency across various sources highlights the need for caution when interpreting these specifications.
